Valve selection
How to choose the duty rating of electric valves? Startup frequency, power on time, and actual load
The electric actuator work system should be selected according to the actual action process: the starting frequency, power on time, and load should all be provided. Occasional switching is different from frequent small adjustments, and it is not enough to just look at the rated torque or the total number of actions per day.

One cycle and one start have different statistical calibers
Opening and closing is usually a complete cycle, but may involve two or more motor starts; Each short correction during adjustment may result in independent start-up. Average the number of complete switches per day to every hour, which may mask the high-frequency operation of a certain production section. The operating condition table should be calculated based on the actual busy window, indicating the amount of complete travel and minor adjustments, to avoid suppliers comparing lifespan and working hours with different definitions.
The duty cycle cannot independently explain all heating conditions
The temperature rise for heavy load start-up, long-term action, and light load minor correction may vary with the same power on ratio. The actuator allows for working under corresponding loads, ambient temperatures, and testing conditions. It is not possible to apply the duty cycle of a certain brand to all electric valves, nor can it be determined that continuous operation is suitable just because the torque is met. The motor and transmission need time to dissipate heat, and thermal protection is a protective measure, not evidence of allowing repeated overloading.
The control circuit may create unnecessary frequent actions
Instruction fluctuations, narrow action dead zones, or measurement noise may cause the actuator to make back and forth corrections. Insufficient selection of work systems is one problem, while unreasonable circuit requirements are another. Before replacing the regulating actuator, the response frequency and allowable deviation required by the process should be clearly defined and evaluated by the control design. Production cannot be maintained by turning off temperature protection, nor can process control requirements be arbitrarily reduced to reduce start-up.
Inquiry and acceptance shall be based on actual action spectrum
Record the maximum number of starts, longest continuous operation, action amplitude, ambient temperature, and load range during busy periods, and select based on the valve torque curve. The delivery materials should indicate the allowable duty rating, protection, and abnormal state handling, not just the power supply voltage. When comparing numbers from different manufacturers, verify definitions and load conditions; The manufacturer's exclusive high-frequency indicators do not automatically become the capability of the entire Fouten ball valve.

Corresponding products and selection entrance
Adding a real action schedule when inquiring about electric valves is often more helpful than simply increasing the torque safety factor. Simultaneously selecting startup, load, and cooling conditions can reduce the device's long-term operation in unsuitable modes.

Common customer questions
Can an electric ball valve operate continuously and frequently with sufficient torque?
Not necessarily, the working schedule, number of starts, and thermal conditions must also be met, and output torque is not the only indicator.
Is switching on and off ten times an hour equal to starting ten times?
The complete switch may include at least two starts, and adjustments may increase the number of times, which should be counted according to the actual control process.
Can the protection be cancelled after the thermal protection action?
It should not be cancelled. Load, action frequency, and duty cycle should be evaluated, and protection cannot replace correct matching.
