J45W-10K is used for pipeline shut-off, driven by a manual device through the valve stem to move the valve disc relative to the valve seat. Confirm the model according to the ordering configuration of this model, and no longer use the Z45W gate valve model. The selection should check the valve body flow path, valve stem movement mode, valve cover structure, and connection dimensions together. Other series of NRS, OS&Y or combined valve cover instructions cannot be directly applied.

JIS10K and Work Pressure

10K is a Japanese standard pressure rating identification, which does not mean that 16bar is allowed for all materials and temperatures, nor is it a factory pressure test value. During design, verify the pressure and temperature ratings based on the selected materials, applicable standards, and actual temperature; When replacing with the original pipeline, it is also necessary to confirm the flange hole spacing, aperture, sealing surface, and surface distance, and not just look at the 10K words.

Material and sealing pair selection

SCS13, SCS14, SCS16A and other stainless steels, as well as SCPH2 carbon steel, are different material options and cannot be considered as having the same corrosion resistance level. The valve body material, valve disc and seat sealing pair, valve stem, packing and gasket should be clearly defined. For chloride ion, acid-base or steam working conditions, the composition, concentration, temperature and pressure of the medium should be provided, and it is not guaranteed that a certain brand is suitable for all corrosive environments.

Flow direction, operation, and installation

The shut-off valve requires sufficient closing force, and the flow direction should be executed according to the specific valve body identification and confirmation diagram, rather than being determined by the size of the diameter and installed in reverse. Before installation, check the maintenance space of the handwheel, valve stem, and pipeline to avoid forced alignment. The relative displacement between the valve disc and the valve seat is used to achieve opening and closing, and excessive force operation with an extended rod should not be applied; When long-term throttling is required, the erosion and adjustment applicability of the valve internals should be evaluated separately.

Please provide the caliber, pipeline standard, design and working temperature and pressure, medium, required flow direction, material and leakage requirements, and attach the existing valve size or structural diagram. Upon delivery, verify the nameplate, model, material, and inspection records against the confirmation documents; The hydraulic test values are determined by approved standards and grades, and fixed 18bar is not considered as a universal acceptance value for all products.
