Product Structure and Drivers

The DZ973X electric rising stem knife gate valve is driven by an electric actuator and supporting transmission mechanism to move the valve stem and gate in a straight line, completing the opening and closing of the pipeline. Pressure levels are available in PN6 and PN10 configurations, with valve body material options including ductile iron QT450 and cast steel WCB. The output capability of the actuator should match the actual opening and closing load, stroke, and operating frequency of the valve.

Switch control and valve position control

Switch type actuators are used for switching between fully open and fully closed positions; When intermediate valve position control is required, an actuator that supports the corresponding control method should be selected, and the input signal, valve position feedback, stroke, and load capacity should be checked. Drive selection should consider both the output torque of the transmission mechanism and the required linear thrust of the gate plate, rather than just selecting based on the diameter or motor power. 4–20mA、 The communication module, power specifications, and power-off action are specific configurations and not default functions for all DZ973X.

Is the knife gate valve suitable for continuous adjustment?

Whether it is suitable for continuous throttling needs to be confirmed based on the valve body, valve seat, gate plate, medium particles, and abrasion conditions. When there is no corresponding design basis, ordinary knife gate valves should not be described as high-precision flow control valves.

Selection of execution mechanism

When selecting, the valve diameter, pressure, medium, operating frequency, power supply conditions, switch or regulation requirements, and whether valve position feedback is required should be provided. The specific control interface and accessories shall be subject to the actual technical data of the executing mechanism.
