Pneumatic extended stem stainless steel flange ball valve 304 CQ941F
Pneumatic extended stem flange ball valve
This product adopts a pneumatic actuator, flange connection, and extended valve stem structure. The series diameter range is DN15-DN1000, and the pressure configuration includes PN16, Class150, and 10K. The material options include WCB, 304 (CF8), and 316L (CF8M). Specific materials and standards shall be confirmed according to project requirements.
Why use an extended valve stem?
Extended valve stem is used to increase the distance between the valve body and the actuator, and can reserve space for insulation layer, cold insulation structure, on-site installation space, or specific temperature isolation requirements. The extended size needs to be determined based on the actual insulation thickness, environmental conditions, and installation requirements of the actuator, and cannot be set uniformly based solely on the diameter.
Extending the valve stem does not necessarily mean that it is automatically suitable for all high and low temperature media
Whether a valve is suitable for high or low temperature conditions also depends on the materials of the valve body, ball, seat, packing, gasket, and other components. Just because the valve stem is lengthened, it cannot be directly determined that it can be used for a fixed limit temperature.
How to choose a pneumatic actuator?
The actuator should be selected based on the actual opening and closing torque of the valve, working pressure difference, gas source pressure, single or double acting requirements, and the safe position for gas loss. Electromagnetic valves, limit feedback, filtering and pressure reducing devices, and locators shall be configured according to project requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can extended stem ball valves be used for liquid nitrogen or high-temperature media?
It is not only necessary to judge based on the length of the valve stem, but also to verify the material, sealing, and design temperature of the entire valve.
Is the size of the extended valve stem fixed?
No, it should be determined based on the requirements of insulation layer, installation space, and actuator layout.
Is a regular pneumatic flange ball valve suitable for continuous adjustment with a locator?
Not necessarily, it is necessary to confirm the ball flow channel, valve seat, pressure difference, and actual flow characteristics.
