Full fluorine lining depends on the actual liquid receiving list, not just the white lining layer on the valve body. Customers need to confirm the valve core, valve stem, seal, and the parts in contact with the medium one by one in order to determine whether the corrosion isolation covers the required area.

Establish a component list from the media path

The fluid passes through the inlet, main channel, throttling or closing area, and then to the outlet, while possibly coming into contact with the support and sealing areas. The liquid receiving components of different valve types are not the same, and the list of ball valves cannot be moved to a single seat regulating valve. The drawings and material list should jointly indicate which parts the medium actually contacts and what materials are used for these parts; A product main image usually cannot fully demonstrate the internal coverage range.

The lining, valve seat, and packing are responsible for their respective tasks

The valve body lining mainly isolates the metal substrate, and the relationship between the valve core and seat affects the flow rate and closing seal. The valve stem seal limits external leakage. The three can be made of different compatible materials, so there is no need to forcefully write the same fluoroplastic just because of the same valve. The compatibility and temperature pressure boundary of material combinations still need to be evaluated separately. The coexistence of FEP and PTFE fillers does not automatically constitute a name error, but the position and function should be clearly indicated.

Optional materials do not necessarily mean that a finished product has all the capabilities at the same time

When the other page only lists PFA and FEP, it cannot automatically expand to all fluoroplastics. For interface flanging, valve stem proximity, and internal active areas, it is important to understand how to form protection and sealing, not just checking a flat lining layer. Different inspection methods prove different issues, and appearance, pressure bearing, and lining integrity cannot be replaced by each other. Whether the product meets special clean or hazardous working conditions, relevant conditions should be separately listed.
